Cutting Your Taxes

Six years in a row, Brady has voted to cut Utah's income tax. The rate has dropped 11% overall, saving Utah families $1.5 billion annually. The average family saves over $700 annually. He sponsored the bill cutting the gas tax 15% and expanded the Child Tax Credit so more families qualify.

Fighting for Utah's Kids

Nearly $300 million in new public education funding this session alone. Brady voted to require targeted reading interventions statewide, with a clear goal of every third grader reading at grade level by 2030. He passed the strictest vaping law in America, driving a 66% reduction in youth vape sales. He gave local school boards authority to keep phones off during the school day.

Utah is now the #2 state for teachers and #4 for education nationally.

Protecting Children

Brady passed laws leading to the fastest increase in child predator prosecutions in state history. He strengthened age-verification requirements for harmful online content, protected bathroom and locker room privacy in schools, and increased penalties for the sexual exploitation of minors.

Making Utah Safer

Brady cracked down on drug trafficking, reformed probation and parole to reduce repeat offenses, and expanded expungement for those who have completed their sentences.

Improving Utah Lake

Brady authored the Utah Lake Authority legislation, moving control from the state to local elected leaders. Utah Lake is now the cleanest it has been in 100 years.

Building Utah County's Future

Brady sponsored SJR008 to establish a law school at Utah Valley University, keeping talent and opportunity here at home. He has led the effort to bring $1.5 billion in road and infrastructure funding to Utah County through 2030.
